Design Engineer - Electronics

 

We are looking for a skilled electronics engineer to join our development team in Aksdal.

Responsibilities:

  • Design electronic components, products, or systems for industrial and military applications
  • Electronic circuit development and analysis
  • Ensuring safety regulations and quality requirements are met
  • EMC testing and measurements
  • Writing and analyzing component specifications
  • Writing technical reports
  • Responsibility for external developments and validation of electronic components
  • Assisting production with complex problems
  • Cooperation with external teams (e.g. Taiwan) on designs and validation of components and systems
  • Developing test procedures for electronic components and equipment 
  • Cooperation with computer engineers
  • Performing preventative maintenance and calibration of R&D equipment

Qualifications:

  • Degree in electronic engineering (or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in using schematics design tools
  • Understanding of EMC
  • A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems
  • Soldering experience
