We would like to inform you about a technical change on our
products due to a necessary substitution of the current LCD modules.
The existing LCD Modules are no longer available, so we will incorperate
new, higher sophisticated LCD Modules from a long-term industrial supplier.
The Maritime Multi Displays (MMD) which are subject for the engineering change:
JH 15T03 MMD JH 19T01 MMD JH 20T04 MMD
(Also included are variations and customized products based on this MMD series)
DETAILS 15 INCH DISPLAY (XGA)
The change is necessary to be effective from 14 February 2005
The Partnumber will be revised from JH15T03MMD-x to JH15T05MMD-x.
The functionalities of the MMD Displays remain unchanged.
The new version has the same "form and fit" as the current version.
The Brightness performance of the LCD remains unchanged (250 Cd/m2).
The Contrast Ratio of the LCD remains unchanged (400:1).
Tests will be performed and Approvals will be applied for as necessary.
DETAILS 19 INCH DISPLAY (SXGA)
The change is necessary to be effective from 14 March 2005
The Partnumber will be revised from JH19T01MMD-x to JH19T02MMD-x
The functionalities of the MMD Displays remain unchanged.
The new version has the same "form and fit" as the current version.
The Brightness performance of the LCD is increased from 250 Cd/m2 to 300 Cd/m2.
The Contrast Ratio of the LCD is increased from 600:1 to 700:1.
Tests will be performed and Approvals will be applied for as necessary.
DETAILS 20.1 INCH DISPLAY (UXGA)
The change is necessary to be effective from 11 April 2005
The Partnumber will be revised from JH20T04MMD-x to JH20T05MMD-x
The functionalities of the MMD Displays remain unchanged.
The new version has the same "form and fit" as the current version.
The Brightness performance of the LCD is increased from 250 Cd/m2 to 300 Cd/m2.
The Contrast Ratio of the LCD remains unchanged (600:1).
Tests will be performed and Approvals will be applied for as necessary.
