SUBJECT
We would like to give you notice about a technical change on our products. Our currently used

The new version will be integrated by the end of this calender year.

DETAILS

The new video controller offers more technical features, such as:

Support for JHD video matrix:
The updated video controller will be capable to detect the future Video Matrix
device from Hatteland Display. If such connection via DVI cable is detected,
a seperate OSD menu will appear for configuration of the Video Matrix.

The video controller will feature two RGB inputs:
The DVI connector is changed from DVI-D to DVI-I, which enables signal inputs from both
DVI and analog RGB. Adapters will be available for converting the DVI-I connector
to standard high density DB15 RGB connector. Selecting between the
two RGB inputs is done via the OSD menu.

The DVI input will be provided with an equalizer, enabling longer cable lengths.
10m cable in UXGA resolution will be possible (cable quality is vital for maximum length).

Notes:
New options to support the new features will be added to the current OSD menu layout.

Board dimensions will be unchanged. The new video controller is backward compatible
and can be used as spare part for the current equipped displays.

Support for additional features such as, buffered RGB output and serial interface (JHSCOM),
will be unchanged. Tests will be performed to retain all type approvals.
