Dear Reader,The end of the first quarter of 2010 is upon us, and in spite of the much spoken about economic downturn, we at Hatteland Display see a stable market with many opportunities ahead of us. The beginning of 2010 has been positive and promising. Without revealing too much of the contents of this issue of Visions, I am proud to say that we are now ready to start the mass production of the new 23" Series 1 display with it's LED backlight. With a stable supply in place, and, consistent with Hatteland Display's policy of ensuring long term product lifecycle, this display will be available in the market for years to come.
In the previous issue of Visions we focused on our computer-products. Our computer range is becoming an increasingly important part of the total turnover of our business. With the recent launch of the compact fanless computers, B17 and B18, we have been overwhelmed by the positive response from our customers. Please also look into the article regarding the reorganization of the sales team, so you can easily get in contact with the right sales contact for more information regarding our computer range.
The Naval & Defense segment is a key growth area and in this Visions, you can read about the new technology launched recently in this segment, TEMPEST.
We will in the near future be present at 3 important exhibitions, SEA Japan in Tokyo, Sea-Air-Space in Washington DC and Euronaval in Paris. We invite you to visit our booths at these events this year to get a first hand view of our existing and upcoming products.
