September saw the biggest marine exhibition of the year in the form of SMM in Hamburg. I'm sure that many of you reading this attended the show as it's even more important now than ever before to communicate with your customers. And Visions is part of our commitment to communicating with you.
Many of our sales team made the trip to Hamburg to come and see you, and tell you about our products, services and the new color calibration system that we have introduced. We've been working hard to prepare this service for a long time and just as we launch it, we hear the news that ECDIS mandatory deadlines have been announced. The news should help to grow the ECDIS market and Hatteland Display is positioned to help you meet that demand.
We didn't have a stand at SMM, because, as many of you know we like to do things a little differently at Hatteland Display. However, an informal estimation is that about 70% of the marine specific displays at maritime exhibitions are made by us, and for that we only have you, our customers to thank.
