Dear Reader,Welcome to this summer 2014 edition of our Visions newsletter. Across it, we hope to inform you of our latest product developments, technology upgrades and an insight into some of our future evolutions to come.
First, I would like to invite those of you who may not regularly visit our website www.hatteland-display.com to consider having a look at it. We hope you like the new layout and the front presentation screen that now highlights immediately on the front-page new product evolutions, with the aim of updating you quickly on what is new in our wide product portfolio. Certainly, there is much to announce and as ever our R&D department has been hard at work to complete a number of project and product line developments. You can read more about these in this edition of Visions that I hope you will find informative.
A feature of the year to date has been a significant and positive growth in activity and demand for our products. This in turn has an impact on lead times, which unfortunately have had to increase in line with this demand. Forecasting and early ordering are therefore important at this time for us and for our customers. We are working hard to adjust to the growth and are putting measures in place to ease the lead times and keep them reasonable. However, please try to plan and order as early as possible.
The ECDIS 'revolution' is indeed underway and we are seeing great success in this sector, delivering calibrated displays and Panel Computer solutions to the main system integrators in the industry. In particular, the market leading 24" Series X (HD 24T21) Panel Computer is a winning solution now delivering across a wide range of professional maritime platforms. We are seeing similar successes with our new PC platforms in both navigation and automation systems in the maritime industry. The HT B22, compact fanless computer, has been delivering since the end of 2013 and is due to be joined in October 2014 by the exciting
new HT C02 and HT2 21 computers. Both available for order already.
Finally, I would like to thank all our customers for their ongoing support and cooperation. Your loyalty and trust in our solutions is the bedrock behind the innovations we strive to deliver to the professional maritime industry.
