Suitable replacement(s):

The LAN module PCA100298-1 is used in various configurations of MMCs and computers. The PCA100298-1 LAN module will be replaced by the new SFP LAN module, model PCBAA21001.

Availability - Mass production alternative / New model(s):

The change has already been implemented.

Additional information:

Replacement and upgrade of the PCA100298-1 module, including the fiber interface. The new module will support both fiber and copper connections through the use of interchangeable SFP transceivers.

Testing / Type approval:

EN60945 certification and type approval EU RO MR - Mutual Recognition (covers DNV, BV, ABS, GL and NK certificates) are pending.
