The new 22" and 26" widescreen displays feature the same enhancements introduced during the Series 1 redesign that hit the market in 2008. These include improved connectivity and fewer cable connections than the previous generation, which increases reliability and reduces component costs. It is ECDIS compliant and can be delivered with optical bonding ®. AC or DC input are both available, while AC out is now standard on all (AC) models. Connections include DVI-I in, RGB in, RGB out, USB in and the HATTELAND® Multifunction Cable.

Signal input/output options are enhanced by using the HATTELAND® Multifunction Connector, which allows the connection of many common signal types such as; Composite Video Input, Touch Screen and Serial Communication through a single cable. The new widescreen also provide Picture-By-Picture (PBP) and Picture-In-Picture (PIP) functionality.

As with all Series 1 redesign displays, these are ECDIS compliant and can be ECDIS calibrated thanks to Hatteland Display's unique in-house color calibration technology. Additionally, the product range can include Hatteland Display's proprietary optical bonding technology, which provides benefits in terms of reduced sunlight reflection, condensation and overheating to ensure better viewing clarity, more reliable operation and a longer product lifespan.

"This extension to Hatteland Display's widescreen portfolio reflects the growing demand for these products in the marine market, from both system integrators and end-users," comments Lars Skjelbred-Eriksen, VP Sales & Marketing, Hatteland Display. "The new 22" widescreen is built to our exacting standards, reflecting the qualities of value and reliability inherent in the Series 1 range. The new 22" widescreen will be the future alternative to the 19" 5:4 format monitor. The 22" will fit with a corresponding height, whilst offering a wider view".
