HATTELAND DISPLAY CONTINUES US EXPANSION WITHAPPOINTMENT OF NEW SALES MANAGER FOR YACHTING MARKET

Hatteland Display has appointed David Neal, 36, as the Sales Manager US - Yacht Division. The appointment is part of Hatteland Display's initiative to enhance the service it provides to its US customers in the Naval, Commercial and Yacht Markets, and follows the appointment of David Hawthorne as General Manager of its American operations in December 2007.

David Neal, who started in his new role at Hatteland Display on February 11th 2008 joins the leading marine display and computer manufacturer with a wealth of experience, having previously held the position of International Sales Manager for Jeppesen Marine's Nobeltec product line for five years. Here he developed a strong distributor and dealer network throughout Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, he held the role of US Sales Manager for Nobeltec for four years.

"During my time in Europe I kept running across Hatteland products and I was very impressed. I felt that the company would do well in the US Yachting Market if they had the right exposure and support, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity of realising this," comments David. "I believe we have the right product mix with outstanding quality, and we are dedicated to providing the best support in the industry. With this as a foundation we are lining up to be as strong in the yachting market as we already are in the Naval and commercial markets."
