Jakob Hatteland Technology (100% owned by Jakob Hatteland Display)
is proud to offer now a newly designed, self produced and fully tested
product range of Maritime Computer solutions.
Experience and Know-How
Hatteland Display already had many years of experiences with
Maritime Displays (MMD product line) and with Panel-Computer solutions (MMC product line).
As a logical step the Hatteland Display Group decided to offer an additional product range for
Maritime Stand-Alone Computers (MSC product line and 19" Rack Computers)
In July 2003 Mr. Jan Terje Moberg, Mr. Jarl Guntveit and Mr. Arne Brede Kristiansen
(all former employees from ITC) joined the Hatteland Display Group and added their
considerable Know-How to the already existing experience for Computer solutions.
Based on that profound know-how for many years for Maritime Computers,
Hatteland Technology is now introducing a complete range of well-designed
Computer Solutions to fullfill the needs for Maritime Electronic Equipment.
Design and Production
All products are designed and controlled by Hatteland Technology in Nedre Vats, Norway.
The production and configuration of the Computers is taking place within Hattelands
production plant#1 (opened in September 2003) in Nedre Vats, Norway.
Here an extensive manufacturing capacity is available for all
products and can be expanded in the future.
The chosen materials for the production of the Computers are specifically
industrial components and will fullfill form-fit-and-function requests.
Product Range
The proprietary product range of Hatteland Technology follows two main
concepts with so far 5 available products in total:
A) Maritime Stand-Alone Computers (MSC product range)
These Computers are ideal for the use of demanding applications like marine
and automation systems and can be placed virtually anywhere. Depending on
necessary expansion slots for ISA/PCI cards different choices can be made.
The Stand-Alone Computers (MSC product range) are available either with
DC-Power supply (12/24 VDC) or AC-Power supply (115/230 VAC).
B) Maritime Industrial 19" - Rack Computers
Ideal for use in industrial and maritime environments where performance is
important, different versions in 2U and 4U heights are available. Equipped
with Intel Pentium4 Processors with 2,4GHz, respectively with
Intel Xeon (optional dual Xeon) Processor, makes these
computers are the smart choice for heavy applications.
Quality and Approvals
All products are type approval pending for: ABS, BV, ClassNK, DNV, GL, LRS
and are suitable for ECDIS. EN60945 tested.
