Jakob Hatteland Display (JHD), the Norwegian marine display and computer specialist, has appointed EIWA Corporation Limited as its sole agent in Japan. The company will act as the support office for all Japanese customers in addition to providing sales facilities for all JHD products, including the new Series 2 family, which was launched in June 2006.
Eiwa, founded in 1947 and with head offices in Osaka and Tokyo, has 35 sales offices around Japan and over 300 employees. As a major supplier of technical equipment to industry, the company offers equipment and material for the maritime market. This range is now extended into the navigation and automation sector, with solutions from the leading worldwide maritime supplier of displays and computers, JHD.
