Redesigned Series 1 Rolls off Production Line

The new Series 1 displays are an evolution of the near marine industry standard Series 1 family, offering added flexibility and functionality with capacity for future improvements. The first models off the production line are our high runners. This ensures that we are able to meet demand for the most popular display sizes.

The new Series 1 family consists 15", 19", 20", 23" and 27" products, which have been redesigned with the same form fit to ensure an exact replacement for previous generation Series 1 displays. This enables system integrators to take advantage of the many current and future benefits offered by the new Series 1 without redesigning systems and consoles to install the new displays.

New Series 1 displays offer vastly improved connectivity. The new HATTELAND® Multifunction Connector allows various signal types, such as Composite Video Input, S-VHS Video Input and Serial Communication to be accessed through this single connector. Additionally, more signal input/outputs for customized solutions can be offered on request.

Hatteland Display has also integrated an Embedded Video Controller X-tended, enabling users to utilise more signals than before. Other connections include RGB in and out, IEC outlet, 2 x COM ports and USB connection. The new Series 1 displays benefit from new, easier to use IP66 rated controls and are IEC60945 tested.

"Series 1 redesign displays are a major improvement over what was already a close to industry standard product," says Lars Skjelbred-Eriksen, VP Sales & Marketing, Hatteland Display. "We have added a host of functionality and connectivity and have designed the displays to enable further improvements in the future. Another key factor is that Series 1 redesign displays follow the exact form and fit of previous Series 1 products so our customers can use them as a straight drop-in replacement."
