We chose Series 2 as the prize in this competition as it is perhaps one of our most desirable products. This was reflected by the winning of a Red Dot Design Award in 2007, where a panel of design professionals chose Series 2 for an award thanks to its smooth and stylish visual design. Behind this though is a wealth of functionality, making Series 2 perhaps the ultimate marine display.
Series 2 is the world's first marine display system to offer the choice of delivery as a display (marine multi display - MMD) only or a display combined with a computer (marine multi computer - MMC). It is based around a modular backpack, which docks into the rear of the screen and can be either an interface unit or an interface and marine computer.
It is this flexibility and the facility to run whatever hardware or software desired, and output to the hi-quality, optically bonded screen that makes Series 2 one of the most advanced and innovative marine display systems available.
