LCD upgrade for 19 inch

Hatteland Display hereby informs about changes for the following model(s): All 19 inch products (MMD, MMC and OEM variants with CCFL Backlight) will be changed to LED Backlight.

Effective from:

Units manufactured after October 1st 2012, all purchase orders will be transferred to this new version when the last unit of existing version is shipped out.

Shipping of units with LED Backlight will start December 1st 2012. If a more detailed schedule and implementation date is required, please contact your Sales Representative in Hatteland Display.

Changes:

New version of the LCD module, with LED backlight. CCFL backlight systems are step by step going towards its end of life. This, combined with better performance and environmental considerations (LED backlights are mercury free) has made us decide to move these products to LED based backlight system. Below, the main characteristics of the new LCD compared with the existing version.

Hatteland Display have tested and verified this new LCD. It has been through a full and formal EN60945 & IACS E10 compliance test at DNV. Existing typenumbers remains unchanged.
