Qualification of second source industrial connectors

Affects current connectors (loose/delivered with products and those soldered on internal PCB) as used in a number of Series X and Computers products from Hatteland Display, commonly referred to as; Terminal Block 5.81 and Terminal Block 3.81 connectors in our Datasheets and User Manuals, see example illustrations below. Applies to both male (loose) and female (on PCB) connectors.

2-pin Terminal Block 5.08 (Phoenix 1961986)

Effective from:

Implemented in production as of this dated ECN.
Existing Product Type Numbers remain unchanged.

Changes:

- Qualification of second source industrial connector, equivalent to connectors from Weidmüller and Phoenix.

Additional information:

New connectors have been tested and verified according to Hatteland Displays procedures (extended performance test, functionality test and hardware compatibility test) and EN60945 & IACS E10 compliance test.

Connectors from all suppliers will be used in parallel, but not combined in a product.
