Effective from:

Units manufactured after May 1st 2012, all purchase orders will be transferred to this new version when the last unit of existing version is shipped out.

Changes:

New version of the LCD module, with LED backlight. CCFL backlight systems are step by step going towards its end of life. This, combined with better performance and environmental considerations (LED backlights are mercury free) has made us decide to move this products to LED based backlight system. Below, the main characteristics of the new LCD compared with the existing version.
