Change of power input circuits, Panel Computer - Series 1, AC models

We have noticed that a few of these products have been returned for service. This was caused by grounding failure in power grid onboard vessels. We decided to improve our protection circuits for our products in order to prevent such issues in future.

Effective from:

Will be implemented in production during Q1 2014.

Changes:

-The old varistor was rated 300V RMS, the new is rated 460V RMS.
-The new varistor has identical properties as the old version, and is from same manufacturer and component series.

Additional information:

Applicable for single power input AC models only. Customized models are ALSO affected by this Engineering Change Notification. Current Product Type Numbers will remain unchanged.
