Implementation of Multi-Sourcing Strategy for RAM Modules across Box and Panel Computer Series.

Due to current volatility in the global semiconductor market, specifically regarding Random Access Memory (RAM), we are observing significant fluctuations in both pricing and availability.

To secure our supply chain and maintain reasonable price levels for our customers, Hatteland Technology is implementing a multi-sourcing strategy. This ensures we can fulfill orders on time despite market shortages or price spikes from single sources.

This change is effective immediately for new manufacturing orders.

Additional information:

Hatteland Technology AS is validating and approving a broader range of RAM modules for use in the systems listed above.

This includes:
- Second Source Activation: Enabling second-source options for currently used RAM models.
- Next-Generation RAM module Validation: Testing and approving next-generation RAM modules.

There is no change to the Form, Fit, or Function of the host system. All approved modules undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet Hatteland Technology quality and performance standards. For some systems, this will result in up to four qualified RAM variants available for use.

Implementation & Logistics:
The specific application of this change depends on the product classification:

Standard Products & Customer Models with Non-Locked BOM:
Hatteland Technology will utilize the qualified RAM module that offers the best commercial conditions and availability at the time of manufacture. The specific RAM module installed may vary between batches based on supply chain optimization. Swapping between these pre-approved modules is classified as a "Running Change" and will not trigger a specific ECN for every instance.

NOTE: The specific RAM module used in each single system will be traceable via the ERP/LCM system.

Products & Customer Models with Locked BOM:
For projects with a contractually "Locked BOM," Hatteland Technology AS will continue to honor the agreed-upon configuration and change procedures.

Supply Constraint Warning: Hatteland Technology AS will maintain the locked configuration as long as it is within our control. Should the specific locked component become obsolete or unavailable globally, we will initiate a formal deviation request or change procedure as per the contract.
