LED Backlight upgrade for 17 and 19 inch High Bright Series X

Hatteland Display hereby informs about changes for the following High Bright Maritime Multi Display (MMD) and High Bright Panel Computer (MMC) model(s):
HD 17T21 (Displays/Panel Computers)
HD 19T21 (Displays/Panel Computers)

Notice: Does not apply for non-High Bright models. Customized models are ALSO affected by this Engineering Change Notification. There will be no changes in the part number, the change will be traced by a serial number jump (and a HW code upgrade in our system).

HD 17T21 (Displays/Panel Computers)

Effective from:

19 inch: 10th of June 2015.
17 inch: Week 33 (10-14th of August 2015).

Units manufactured after these dates, all purchase orders will be transferred to this new version when the last unit of existing version is shipped out. Please contact our sales department for detailed and controlled follow-up, if needed.

Changes:

- Light intensity changes from current/previous: 800 cd/m² to: 1000 cd/m² (NITS).

Additional information:

LCD module remains the same, this is only a backlight upgrade.

Hatteland Display have tested and verified the new backlight technology upgrade and has been through a full and formal EN60945 compliance test at the accredited test laboratory Applica Test & Certification.
