GDCX - Change of ECDIS and +/- symbol color

Hatteland Display hereby informs about changes for Glass Display Control (GDCX) - User Controls:

Series X Generation 2 (G2) - Maritime Multi Display (MMD):
24 and 26 inch displays.

Multi Vision Display (MVD):
32 inch display, 55 inch Chart & Planning Table and 55 inch Wall Mount display.
HD 24T22 xxD-xxx-xxxx (24 inch)
HD 26T22 xxD-xxx-xxxx (26 inch)
HD 32T22 MVD-MAx-AxGx (32 inch)
HD 55T22 MVD-MAx-AOGx (55 inch - Wall Mount Model)
HD 55T22 MVD-AAx-TOGP (55 inch - Chart & Planning Table Model)

Notice: Customized models are ALSO affected by this Engineering Change Notification.

Effective from:

1 August 2017. Gradual implementation.

Changes:

- Change backlight color of "ECDIS", "+" and "-" LEDs indication from Red to Orange (see illustration in attached links below).

Additional information:

Models delivered with this change will have "NXP" firmware Reference: "FW100002-0A15". Orange ECDIS color will be factory default for all Series X Generation 2 (G2) models (15 to 27 inch) as per this dated ECN.
