Hatteland Display standarizes on Torx screws in manufacturing
The following ECN apply to all display, panel computer and computer products manufactured by Hatteland Display.
Hatteland Display has since many years already, decided to use Torx screws when assembling our products. For a period, we have been using both Torx and Pozidriv / Phillips screws, but now we are using Torx screws only. This includes circuit board screws, mechanical assembly screws and Earth Screw.
Particularly the Earth Screw are of importance for customers in need to ground the product to their grounding system. Below is information and pictures of the Torx screw and its screwdriver tool needed.
