HT C01 DVI-I connector bracket

Hatteland Display have noticed increased returns of units to our service department with damaged DVI connectors. This is caused by forces from the DVI cable to the chassis and VGA/DVI connector inside the unit. When these forces are to high the DVI connector might eventually disconnect from the connector stack inside the unit resulting in loss of signal and/or flickering picture. This issue has been fixed by implementing an enforcing solution for the connector area.

Manufacturing period:

Units manufactured since launch (2009) and throughout 2010.

Description / Sympton(s):

- Enforced chassis part around the connectors, to improve strength on the DVI connector
- Does not affect the functionality if the cables are secured or the DVI-I output is not in use
- Make sure to keep mechanical forces from installed DVI cables as small as possible, using proper cable retaining solutions. (also when it is enforced)
- The enforced solution can easily be mounted in field, without opening the chassis. Contact our service department for further details
