The purpose of the Transparency Act is twofold:

•    It must promote the company's respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions and ensure that the public gets access to information about how companies deal with negative consequences when these are violated.

•    The Act shall promote the business's respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and services and ensure the public has access to information about how the business handles negative consequences for basic human rights and decent working conditions.

Safeguarding human rights and decent working conditions is an essential part of the sustainability work at Hatteland Technology. It should help ensure that we comply with the UN's sustainability goal no. 8, "Decent work and economic growth".
