The XRD meets the requirements of 50g shock eliminating the need for shock isolation in the rack or console, as well as MIL-STD-167-1A, MIL-STD-461F&G, and MIL-STD-810F&G. By combining the superior FHD/WUXGA LCD picture quality with Optical Bonding technology with its new, shock resistant chassis Hatteland Technology has raised the standard for affordable rugged monitors.

The clarity and enhanced color and image quality produced by our proprietary Optical Bonding technology makes the XRD ideal for information-intensive applications. With our fully-adjustable backlight system (0-100%), the XRD is suitable for round-the-clock use, day or night.

The cutting edge high definition LED monitor technology used, with its high quality brightness and contrast, in combination with aspect ratio of 16:9/16:10 enables the presentation of large amounts of data onto one screen. Flexible I/O options supporting both analog and digital inputs, AC and DC power (Multipower) connection, and a touchscreen (option), makes the XRD a perfect choice for the versatile demands of modern military/naval system designs. Models with removable handles are also available. By factory standards the 24 inch unit is ECDIS Compliant.
