A successful first year in our new production facility

[July 2026]

A little over one year has passed since the opening of our second production facility in Aksdal, Norway. We commissioned it to meet steady and increasing demand for HATTELAND® marine-approved products, and we're pleased to report that the first year has been a successful one.

– The additional building allows us to produce significantly more and to cut delivery time, says Ståle Stokkeland, Product Manager.

The added 3000 m2 of production space is tailored to our specific requirements, and include a new manufacturing line, test facilities, storage space, offices, and communal areas.

– As is the case for any new-build, getting into the groove takes a little while. But thankfully, I must say things have clicked really well from early on, says Anna Aulie, VP People & Communication.

See a selection of pictures from the new building below – and feel free to contact us if you would like to know more.
